Withdrawal Policy
Manuscripts submitted to Linguistic Forum should represent original work that has not been published elsewhere and is not under review for publication elsewhere. Once a manuscript has been accepted and published, it is considered a final, archived document and cannot be withdrawn from the journal's records.
In exceptional cases, if an author wishes to withdraw a manuscript after it has been submitted but before it has been reviewed, the author must contact the editorial office immediately with a clear reason for withdrawal. The request will be considered by the editor and if it is determined that withdrawal is appropriate, the manuscript will be withdrawn and the author will be notified.
If a manuscript has already undergone review and the author wishes to withdraw it, the author must provide a clear and valid reason for the withdrawal to the editor. The editor will then consult with the reviewers to determine whether the withdrawal is appropriate. If the withdrawal is granted, the manuscript will be withdrawn and the author will be notified.
If a manuscript has been accepted for publication and the author wishes to withdraw it, the editor will consider the reason for withdrawal and the potential impact on the journal's reputation and indexing status. If withdrawal is deemed necessary, the manuscript will be withdrawn and an announcement will be made to alert readers and other stakeholders.
In all cases, the decision to withdraw a manuscript is at the discretion of the editor and should be made in the interest of maintaining the journal's integrity and reputation.
